Courtney’s & Tate’s original wedding date was in April, but they brought all the spring light and newness to their summer date. Their family and friends celebrated the start of their marriage, beginning as not only husband & wife, but mom & dad too. Courtney carried their baby on their wedding day, and what better mark of spring is there than brand new life?

Hill country and lavender are two of my favorite things, and Courtney included them both on her day. The Milestone in New Braunfels was a perfect venue for their cheerful and sweet wedding, complete with soft purple florals and lots of greens. Her wedding gown was perfect from top to bottom, lacy and complete with a sparkly belt and shoes (my favorite!). Toward the end of the reception I remember looking at Courtney still steeped in wedding day glow; she made it through the whole day two inches taller in sparkly jeweled heels. I was beyond impressed.

We used their ultrasound images for a few wedding pictures, and I slipped them in some detail shots. One day their little one will see those pictures and love knowing they were present and recognized with excitement. Commemorated in sonogram, black & white promise of a new and good thing.

Courtney & Tate, just like all your family and friends, I’m cheering for your family of three and can’t wait to see your little one outside the womb. New life and new marriage are the best things to celebrate; thanks for including me in both. 💛
