From the red flowy sundress to the cool breeze we felt in the heat, Tori & Zane’s engagement session was the perfect last taste of summer. They started off Labor Day weekend, and I was just praying we wouldn’t be rained out. Not only did the thunderstorms of the whole week break for us, we even had some sun peek through.
The weather and location were best case scenarios, but Tori & Zane made the session so much fun. They were easygoing and an all around delight. It was our first time meeting in person, and I’d been so looking forward to it. Without of town couples and COVID caution, Zooms and phone calls are the new norm for consults, so meeting for the first time at a session builds the anticipation even more than normal! What I didn’t know from Zoom: I love how Tori stands on her tiptoes to kiss Zane, and the shots with the foot pop are my favorite (who doesn’t love a good foot pop? (Princess Diaries anyone?)).
I’m so glad there’s not too much more time to wait before I get to have Tori & Zane in front of my camera again. Their December wedding will feel a lot different from the sundress and high eighties vibe we shot this month, but I can’t wait to see them in a different season. I know they’ll bring the summertime glow to their winter wedding date!
