Just two days after Christmas, Tori & Zane celebrated the start of their marriage with classic green and subtle light peach florals, tons of dried citrus, and a Christmas tree covered in ornaments commemorating the occasion. Walking in felt warm and welcoming, a continuation of the festivity and celebration the season always brings.
Tori thought of everything to make this day look and feel perfect. She dehydrated the oranges herself and arranged the bouquets with her mom (I know… amazing! Check them out!). She popped pink champagne with her bridesmaids and brought “MRS” balloons to take pictures with. They had wine bottles made with a favorite engagement picture on them (which was so fun for me to see!), and customized ornaments made for their guests. Not only did she go above and beyond making her wedding day special, but she was also such a relaxed and joyful bride. I think it’s so telling when a couple takes ownership of making the day beautiful, but still doesn’t carry any stress into the day with them.
One of my favorite moments from the day was immediately following the ceremony, when they snuck to the side of the chapel and shared first hugs as husband and wife. Tori was literally jumping with joy, a happy love song was playing from the chapel, and I, of course, shed a happy tear for them. If you scroll down, you can see those sweet moments below. This wedding day kickstarted a three wedding week for me, which isn’t something I normally do. Starting it with Tori and Zane left me excited and thankful for what I do.
First blog of 2021 goes to my second to last couple of 2020, a bright spot in the year! Enjoy these and join me in letting the happy tears roll. 🤍
