The first thing Remington & I did upon arrival is share a big hug as Remington so sweetly said “I feel like we’re already best friends!” And it was 6am. If that doesn’t show how sweet, fun, and bubbly this couple is I just don’t know what would.

Remington is one of those people who can make you feel so welcomed and loved immediately. I don’t know exactly how she can communicate that warmth through texts, emails, or instagram DM’s, but somehow I knew just what to expect. I’d hang out with this couple any sunrise.

We shot in the pre dawn cool of day through when things started to warm up. (Had anyone else forgotten what 75 feels like?!) I know sunrise can be intimidating, but it just looks and feels almost too good to be real. They snuggled, laughed, and danced for these and I think all the joy made it through in these images. They were such a delight to capture.

It’s the most fun thing for me when clients feel like real life friends, and Remington & Colt felt like old friends instantly. Sending off a wedding gallery often makes me feel so sad to say goodbye to regular communication with a couple. I’m already wondering how I’ll send off theirs. Thank goodness we’ve got many months & bridals between when I’ll have to deal with that goodbye!
