Lakeside & wonderful, this wedding was one for the books. Lush greens, blush pinks, floral goodness, and small children were everywhere (my favorites – I was my very happiest).
I started the day with Dooley & the ladies getting ready at home. Not only was this home like walking into an Anthropologie but being invited to stay and make yourself comfortable, have I mentioned the precious tiny kids? You might think little girls in matching jammies is peek cuteness, but picture them getting their makeup done. Brite Beauty was the sweetest to the littlest flower girl, and I think those pictures are truly as cute as it gets.
Details and pajama pictures behind us, we moved on to Dooley & Brody’s venue. La FooFaraw was putting the finishing touches on the most beautiful floral arch overlooking the lake. The bride & groom stayed separate while we finished up pre ceremony photos, and the anticipation for the down-the-aisle moment built.
Seven dutiful ring bearers and three beautiful flower girls walked down the aisle before Dooley, and when it finally came time for the bride to join the bridal party, Brody couldn’t have had a sweeter reaction. Please scroll to see.
Well, now that we’re all crying… This day was so joyful before the bride & groom had even seen each other but it only got better once they joined the party as husband & wife. DJ Bradford brought the party, the bridal party brought the moves, Dooley brought the rap game, and Brody brought the best fan-husband energy as he cheered for his bride singing every word to Shoop on the mic. (#COOLBRIDEMOMENT).
