Elise + Derek at Hillside Estate

All things blue and beautiful for this wedding day at The Hillside Estate! Elise and Derek chose the most perfect palette of blues, greens, and creamy whites. Holly Viles Florals were everywhere from the staircase to the crown on the flower girl’s head. Deb with RK Weddings executed the most flawless wedding from beginning to end. (And as always I don’t know what I’d do without such awesome planning!).

They thought of everything to make this day not only gorgeous in every detail, but also equally meaningful. By the end of the night I wanted to be Elise & Derek’s best friend.

“There isn’t a lot we do without intention,” Derek began his speech to their wedding guests. I couldn’t think of a better way to articulate their day than full of intention and love. The flower girl carried a bear labeled with her name and title: “Zoe, flower girl.” (Which she proudly carried through wedding party photos – it was even cuter than it sounds). They praised each other for how they reflected Christ in their handwritten vows, and the toasts were full of testimonies of their faithfulness as friends.

With humor and lightheartedness, they were joyful all day long. they pointed everything back to Jesus in both big and small ways. It’s such a gift to watch a wedding day unfold like that.

Elise & Derek, what an honor to celebrate the start of your marriage. I am so thankful to be a part of how you’ll remember this sweet day forever. I love looking through these because you had a beautiful wedding day, and because you’re wonderful people to be around. Nothing but love for the Healy’s!!!
