When Hannah and I met over coffee to chat about her wedding day details, we ended up spending the better part of the meeting discussing our mutual love for New York and city life. She even booked a spontaneous trip to the city after our meeting! My kind of girl! It’s such a gift to find clients I click so well with. It makes the wedding day even sweeter.
Hannah’s vision for the session was to offer guests the first taste of what’s to come on their wedding day: intimate, joy filled, beauty downtown. I couldn’t be more on board and excited if I tried.
We started portraits at sunrise (on their 8 year anniversary! What! Too perfect.) in front of their wedding venue: The Thompson Hotel. Joined by their enthusiastic puppy, Nash, we snagged a few family portraits before Nash retired with their sweet friend who’d joined as his handler. He smiled for every portrait – I’ve included plenty of evidence below.
We walked around downtown together during my first relatively cool session of the year. Truly an ideal morning.
The weather and location were wonderful, but Hannah and Tyler’s easy smiles, laughs, and killer outfit choices made this magic. (And it was as fun as it looks to hang out with them).
Hannah & Tyler, I’m your biggest fans. It was such a joy to shoot these and I’m practically bouncing up and down to shoot the wedding day to come. Here’s to more magic.🥂
