Kenzie and Zane are such a delight! I mentioned this a dozen times while shooting, but Kenzie reminds me so much of Kristen Bell. I literally felt starstruck. The voice, the look, the personality – she has it all, and I love it.
Zane may not remind me of Dax Shepherd, but he absolutely fits as the perfect compliment to Kenzie. One of my favorite things to notice while shooting with couples the first time is how easy it is to feel like friends right away. Kenzie & Zane are the best example of this. Walking around White Rock Lake I felt like we were just out enjoying the nice weather together. They made me laugh and got to know me as much as I got to know them. I am so thankful for warmth and joy in clients like these two.
Kenzie & Zane wanted to choose a spot that felt like them, so they chose the lake. I am always happy to shoot at one of Dallas’s most natural and beautiful locations, but this time of year is probably my favorite to see White Rock. The leaves haven’t fallen and the nature is lush. But the colors are vibrant enough to speak autumn warmth over every shot.
From their personalities to the season they chose to shoot, this session was such a win. Kenzie & Zane, I’m so happy to be counting down to the big day with you!
