Blush pink, sweet peaches, dusty blue against June sun. The Everetts had their best day ever saying “I do” in the prettiest white chapel at The Brooks.
Megan & Hunter met in the chapel to share a private first look just briefly before their ceremony. One of the fun things about being a photographer is seeing the anticipation in both the bride and groom’s eyes prior to seeing each other, and then capturing the glee during the reveal. Relief, peace, and shut eyes as they hug each other long and tight. It’s like holding on to forever just before it starts.
Anticipation turned into tears when Hunter saw his bride, perfect from head to toe in her Kleinfeld gown, delicate pearls, and the shoes I’m affectionately referring to as “my favorite ever.” Seriously.
When it was time to get married, Megan walked down the path to the chapel as her guests watched through the open sides. The breeze blew soft and light streamed in without barrier. And in a few short minutes, they were husband & wife. They laughed through their portraits and danced through the night. A sparkler exit marked their departure, and I’m still thinking about what a perfect day it all turned out to be.
Megan & Hunter, thank you for inviting me to your fairytail day. It was so special, so sweet, and so fun to be a part of. I’m going to have the best time editing your video and reliving all the magic as I prepare it for you to see more. Happy marriage, Everetts!!!
