Not every proposal story is accompanied by a photo album of an exotic two week vacation detailing all the key events, but Lauren & Web’s absolutely is. And if you know Lauren, you’d probably expect nothing less.

Meeting over coffee, Lauren handed me the sweetest album to look through when I asked about how she and Web got engaged. Being a photographer, flipping through all the images that tell the story was so special. It was so easy to tell Lauren really values documenting things through pictures, which makes me so excited and honored to capture their wedding day.

Amazing iPhone pictures covered the proposal abroad, and I got to take engagement pictures back on their home turf: downtown Dallas.

You’d never know it, but Lauren had the flu during this session – and who among us can say we’ve ever looked that good with the flu?! She was such a champ walking these streets, feverish and in heels, surely feeling nothing like how she looks.

With a bride so confident, competent, and who’s clearly ready for anything, I’m so excited to be a part of Lauren & Web’s well documented love story. Next stop: wedding day!
