Ali & Rick’s wedding day was marked by lush green backdrops, warm summer sun, and bright, classic pink. I already mentioned in a previous post, but I might just think of this shade of pink as Ali-pink forever.

I’m so glad this couple chose such a cheerful color pallet for their wedding day. Nothing else would have seemed right next to their big and bright smiles. I remember writing in my blog for Ali & Rick’s engagement session that I couldn’t wait to seem them with their wedding day glow since summer looked so good on them. I was so right to anticipate the best. While I had some concerns the heat would take it out of them for portraits, they were willing and enthusiastic for everything. I’m honestly so impressed and couldn’t have asked more from them. There’s no other explanation than the wedding day glowing working its magic!

While no one can take credit for the sunshine, everything else about Ali & Rick’s day was intentionally thought through and beautifully executed. I know this has to be accredited to Ali’s attention to detail and her fantastic planner, Deb, from RK Weddings & Events. And I couldn’t write about this day without extending a little extra love for the florals by Pick A Daisy! This wedding wouldn’t have been the same without all her gorgeous pink blooms.

Ali & Rick, thank you for taking me along on your sweet wedding day. It was such a joy to anticipate this day on the calendar for so long and capture everything from engagements to watching you dance the night away with all your sweet friends and family. I’m over the moon there’s still a video to come, and I cannot wait to share. Happy marriage, Oestrichers!
