Some weddings feel like a deep breath. Lauren and Douglas’s winter celebration was exactly that.
Set at Stonebriar Country Club, the day unfolded in elegant, lush goodness: winter whites, timeless details, and an intimacy that made every moment feel intentional. Lauren matched the classic vibes of the country club’s aesthetic while maintaining endless beauty and grace throughout the entirety of the day. A dream bride from head to to heart!
The ceremony took place outdoors, set against the lush green of the golf course.. Framed by pillars of winter white florals, the space felt both intentional and effortless. The greenery stretched endlessly behind them, creating a peaceful, almost garden-like backdrop as sunlight filtered through the blooms. The natural beauty of the setting gently held the moment without stealing the spotlight.
As guests made their way from cocktail hour to reception, flowing drapes framed the entryway, transforming the ballroom into a serene oasis. The color palette was soft and refined – creamy whites layered with gentle textures that felt classic in the best way.
The toasts were especially memorable, sweet, and heartfelt. Filled with stories that reflected the depth of love surrounding the couple, each guest’s special words invited all the happy tears. These are the moments that make intimate weddings so powerful: nothing rushed, nothing lost in the crowd.
From the classic winter palette to the sun-filled ceremony and oasis-like reception, this wedding was a reminder that elegance is often found in softness, light, and the joy of celebrating love with the people who matter most.
Lauren and Douglas, thank you for allowing me to be part of your wedding day magic. It was so special celebrating you both among your closest family and friends. Cheering for you two always!
